As a Ceramic Artist, I'm captivated by the process of working in clay. Especially the magic of the potter's wheel, spinning out shapes that speak to me – everything from domestic ware to fine art forms for alternative firing like Raku.

There's a deep connection to be found in clay. Yes, it can get messy, and you might be completely immersed by the end of a session. But that's part of the beauty. You get to return to your core, putting your hands into the earth and letting the world fall away. From formless earth to a new object in space – that's the transformation, a simple form of magic.

The entire process is fascinating in its ordinariness. You get to work with the elements, alchemising one of the most humble materials on earth.

My journey? Growing up in rural Australia and spending 14 years in London making, teaching, and exhibiting. Now, I'm inspired by the wild ruggedness of nature fused with elegance, elements I love to explore in my work.

As a teacher, I create a welcoming environment that embraces mindfulness, relaxation, and a love for the craft (with a few laughs, of course!).
